Custom software

One platform instead of a pricey time card app.

A Wyoming construction company · In progress

The problem: They were paying tens of thousands of dollars a year for one time card app, and it still didn’t cover the rest of the job.
What I built: A platform they’ll own: time cards, project management, job tracking, and job applications that flow straight in from their website. Built in stages.
What changed: They’re moving off the app for about what they used to spend on it, and every new piece fits how they already work.

Custom software

Fundraiser tables, sold online.

Y.E.S. House Foundation

The problem: Selling tables for a fundraiser means tracking who’s sitting where, who has paid, and whose logo goes up as a sponsor.
What I built: An online seating chart. Guests pick a table and pay with PayPal, sponsors upload their logos, confirmations go out by email, and organizers run it all from one admin screen.
What changed: Guests book themselves. The organizers see the whole room in one place instead of piecing it together.

AI assistant

An assistant that answers from the company’s own knowledge.

HRA Simple

The problem: People had the same questions about health reimbursement plans, and the answers lived in the company’s own documents.
What I built: “Harper,” an AI assistant that answers from HRA Simple’s own knowledge base. Guardrails screen for personal information, and an admin dashboard lets their team manage the content and see what people ask. A monitor checks every five minutes that Harper is up.
What changed: Visitors get answers any time of day, from HRA Simple’s own material. When the monitor raised alarms over slow answers, I tuned it to page only when Harper actually can’t load.

Automation

Job photos that file themselves.

A media company’s field crews

The problem: Crews take photos and video all day on job sites, often with no signal. Getting them to the office meant texts, lost files and chasing people down.
What I built: A web app crews open from a texted link. No app store, no login. They snap or pick photos and add a note. If there’s no signal, it waits and sends on its own. Everything lands in Google Drive, sorted by company, person and month, with a backup copy.
What changed: The office gets one short email each morning instead of a ping for every photo. When per-upload alerts got too noisy, we switched to the daily summary.

Custom software

A website the staff can actually run.

Truman Heartland Community Foundation · Missouri

The problem: Staff needed to update a big site with lots of funds, scholarships and events, and the standard WordPress menu screen was too confusing to use.
What I built: A rebuilt WordPress site with a simple drag-and-drop menu editor made for them, events that move to “past” on their own when the date passes, and 722 records turned into searchable directories.
What changed: The staff edit the site themselves, without calling a developer for every change.

Websites

Hacked site, rebuilt with nothing to hack.

LK Communications

The problem: Their WordPress site was hacked.
What I built: All 85 pages rebuilt as a fast static site with the same look, and their existing contact form kept. No plugins and no admin login left to break into.
What changed: The site can’t be hacked the same way again, and they own a copy they can host anywhere.

My internal development platform

The platform my client sites run on. Clients change their site by telling it what they want in plain English. It also runs their forms, blog, reviews and search setup. This site runs on it.

Shows what Google and AI tools say about a business, in plain English. It powers the free visibility check.
