They were paying tens of thousands of dollars a year for one time card app. I’m building them a platform they’ll own: time cards, project management, job tracking, and job applications that flow straight in from their website. Built in stages, for about what they used to spend on that one app.
Honest about build vs. buy
Sometimes the right answer is an app you can buy for $20 a month. If that’s you, I’ll say so and help you set it up. Custom makes sense when you’re paying a lot for software that only half fits.

Either way, The Plan tells you the price of each stage and what it should save you. If it won’t pay for itself, I’ll tell you not to do it.
Questions people ask
Do I really own it?
If you pick “Own it,” yes: you get the code and the documentation. If you pick “Managed,” I host and maintain it, and your data is always yours. You can switch to owning it later.
Will it work with QuickBooks (or the tools we already use)?
Usually. I’ll confirm before I price it.
What happens if you’re not around?
You’re covered. Every build is documented. If you own it, you already have the code. If I run it for you and I’m ever unable to continue, you get the code and the documentation so someone else can take over. If your system has AI built in and I stop responding, it can find and recommend someone to help you.
How long does it take?
It depends on the build. Each stage is usually a few weeks.
Is this AI?
Sometimes, but most of the value comes from software that simply fits how you work. If you mostly want AI handling repetitive steps, that’s automation.
