Real apps, on the App Store and Google Play.
I build mobile apps for iPhone and Android, and I get them published: the developer accounts, the store listings, the privacy answers and the review.
Prairie Giraffe is a registered developer with Apple and Google. I build the app, and I take it all the way into the stores. No handing off the last mile to someone else.
What I build
- Apps for your customersBooking, ordering, rewards, or a tool that goes with your service.
- Apps for your teamChecklists, schedules and time tracking for the people doing the work.
- One build, both phonesiPhone and Android from the same code, so you’re not paying for it twice.
- Games and learningLike Hester’s Homestead, a game that teaches people to work with AI.
Published, not just built.
Live on both stores
Hester’s Homestead
My own game for iPhone and Android. It teaches people to work with AI, and it went through Apple’s and Google’s review on its way into both stores.
See the appApp or web app?
Both run on a phone. The difference is how people get them and when you’d want each one.
| App | Web app | |
|---|---|---|
| How people get it | Download it from the App Store or Google Play | Open a link. Nothing to install. |
| Best for | Something people use often, keep on their phone, and expect to find in the store | A tool you want in people’s hands quickly, or one they use now and then |
| Updates | Go through Apple’s and Google’s review | Live as soon as they’re ready |
| To get started | Developer accounts and store review | No store and no review |
Not sure which one you need? Tell me what it has to do, and I’ll help you decide. Ask me anything
How it works
- 1
Let’s talk.
It’s free. Tell me what the app needs to do and who it’s for.
- 2
Get The Plan.
A paid deep dive: every screen, the price of each stage, the timeline, and what I’ll need from you, like your developer accounts.
- 3
I build it and get it published.
You try it on your own phone first, through Apple’s and Google’s testing tools. Then I write the store listings and send it to review.
Questions people ask
Will it be listed under my company’s name?
Yes. You’ll need your own Apple developer account ($99 a year) and Google Play developer account ($25, one time), and I’ll walk you through setting both up. Businesses also need a free D-U-N-S number.
How long does store review take?
Usually a few days. Apple and Google both approved Hester’s Homestead within a week of sending it in.
Who owns the app?
Same as custom software: own it outright, or let me run it for you. Either way, the store listing and your data are yours.
Does the app have to collect people’s data?
No. Hester’s Homestead collects nothing, and both stores say so on its listing. If your app does need data, I’ll answer the stores’ privacy questions honestly so it gets approved.
What does it cost?
It depends on what the app does. The Plan gives you the price of each stage before you commit. If it won’t pay for itself, I’ll tell you not to do it.
