How long does local SEO take?
SEO is a long-term strategy. Our goal is always to take advantage of as many "quick wins" as possible, but we recommend at least a 6-month commitment. That doesn't mean you have to wait 6-12 months before you start to see results. However, if you don't see results right away, don't panic! Sometimes SEO takes a while depending on how competitive your areas is, what keywords you're trying to rank for, and other external factors.
You may see a bump in conversions (more people becoming customers) because of the changes to your messaging and service pages that come with a local SEO marketing strategy before you start seeing more traffic.
Do you guarantee this will work?
SEO that comes with a Guarantee is a red flag. SEO depends on a number of factors, most of which are out of the control of the SEO Provider. If someone is offering guaranteed SEO results, then they probably aren't doing SEO.
SEO and Local SEO is a process where the provider will make improvements to your website, web presence, citations, and provide direction on to your company on how to get more reviews or create content. These changes are made over time, and then the Search Engines respond to your efforts by making your site rank higher. Because by making these changes you've increased the value of your website to their customers (Google, Bing, etc's customers, not yours). So a guarantee of results isn't something someone can guarantee.
What we can guarantee is that the work we promise we will do will be done. Pages will be made, content will be created, and you'll be able to see our progress.
What Is Local SEO & How Is It Different from Regular Website SEO?
Local SEO differs in that it focuses on making your site rank higher for people in your local area. Meaning that it isn't right for everyone. If searching for keywords relevant to your business causes the Local Map Pack (the results at the top of Google just below the map) then you are probably a good fit for Local SEO.
However, if you're trying to branch out from your town and rank for keywords across all of North America or the whole world, then Traditional Search Engine Optimization is probably a better fit.
